GET THAT INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD WORKING!!!

As a teacher, I can’t recall the number of hours I’ve spent scouring the internet for high quality, reliable and interactive websites to use within my classroom. The following list contains just a few general websites that I have found handy in narrowing my search for curriculum based activities.

CRICKWEB

Crickweb contains free interactive resources and activities for your Interactive Whiteboard. Activities are broken down to three levels; Early Years/Foundation Stage for 4 to 5 year olds, Key Stage 1 for 6 to 7 year olds (Year 1 & Year 2) and Key Stage 2 for 8 to 11 year olds (Year 3 to Year 6)

The Jefferson County Schools website contains many links to useful websites. The Interactive Websites list provides a list of curriculum based resources that can be used on the Interactive Whiteboard or desktop computers.

The Skillwise Games page contains fun, challenging and interactive word and number games. These games aim to improve your literacy and numeracy skills.

MATH PLAYGROUND

Math Playground contains interactive, fun and exciting numeracy based activities for Middle Years students. Check out the Maths Games section for games to use on your Interactive Whiteboard.
